The Mantis XP currently resides in California, and we negotiating with the owner to have the car shipped over to the UK for the 50th Anniversary celebrations. We are hoping to finance the shipping costs through contributions. It will be the first time the Mantis has been back to the UK since it left for the US in the 1970's, and will be a once in a life time opportunity to see the car which has been fully restored to its former glory by the present owner, as you can see from the photos with stunning effect. |

The shipping costs are going to work out about £4000 which will include transportation from the docks in Felixstowe to Prescott and back again. Unfortunately the three Marcos clubs cannot contribute any funds towards the shipping costs and so Marcos Heritage has committed £1500. We are asking all willing Marcos owners and enthusiasts to contribute. We have had an amazing start from two very kind and generous owners so we are well on the way! All donations are greatly appreciated however big or small. TOTAL SO FAR ! ! ! : £3390.00 All contributions will receive a receipt, and if by some horrible twist of fate it all falls through all contributions will be refunded in full. Full shipping and transportation costs will be published as available. Contributions can be made by cheque (payable to Marcos Heritage Spares Ltd), and credit card by e-mail / phone.
