Mini Marcos MK I - "Mini Cheddar" - Barn Find !!!

With thanks to Roger Garland and owner Tom Drew we purchased this rare MK I Mini Marcos from a barn in Cheddar. It is an exceptionally original car and we will go on to restore it fully.

The car was purchased new by Tom's father in 1965 and has been in the family for all of its life. It has never been registered, or used on the road.

After spending a lot of time and energy on the car, Tom reluctantly agreed to sell it to MHS to enable the car to be full restored as a living example of the origins of the car we produce today.

The MK I Mini Marcos was Manufacturered from 1965 to 1966 by Marcos Cars Components Limited, Greenland Mills, Bradford-on-Avon.

The MK I models have the following unique features:


Louvres behind rear side windows	Fixed perspex door windows with sliding ventilators	Non-recessed fuel filler	Notched wheel arches

High open-bottom tunnel			Fixed Rear Side Windows
	Very narrow number plate panel under nose
